Checked against the official source:
Remote accounting today is not a compromise but a standard format: primary documents are sent electronically, the books are kept in a shared database, and questions are resolved through agreed communication channels.
How it works technically
- e-invoices (ESF) are issued in the electronic system (Article 47 of the Tax Code);
- tax returns are filed through the taxpayer's online account, with login by digital signature (EDS) (Article 56);
- a tax consultancy organization may file returns on the client's behalf through the client's online account (Article 82);
- having the books kept under a contract is the right of the company's head (Article 11 of the Law on Accounting).
How the work is organized
- Documents are sent as scans or via shared storage according to an agreed schedule
- The books are kept in a database accessible to both parties
- Questions on specific transactions are resolved in a work chat within the day
- Reports are prepared and agreed before the filing deadline, not on the last day
- Original documents remain with the company
How it differs from a visiting accountant
A visiting accountant is one person working a few days a month; the rest of the time there is no one to ask. Remote service by an organization provides constant availability of a team and the distribution of areas among specialists.
The main condition for success
Regular delivery of documents. The main cause of breakdowns in the remote format is not distance but the habit of handing over a quarter's documents all at once on the last day. This is solved by a schedule fixed in the contract.
Switch to remote accounting
We will agree a schedule for document delivery and take over your bookkeeping.

Who is responsible for filing deadlines?
The service provider — provided the documents are received on time. That is why the contract fixes both sides of the obligation: your deadline for providing documents and our deadline for preparation.
Can an external accountant file reports for the company?
Yes: a tax consultancy organization may submit reports on the taxpayer's behalf through its online account (Article 82 of the Tax Code).
